This book is a collection of "open scenes" for actors for use in the acting class. These scenes contain little to no stage directions or indications regarding specific emotions. In the way, the actor learns to say, “I don't know” to many details of the scene, and thus comes to trust both the text and him- or herself, his or her partner, and the moment. Scenes are included for a variety of casts and gender mixes.
